Last Saturday, tree-planting crews fanned out across the Harbord Village and the Palmerston neighbourhood to the west of us to plant backyard trees. Due to a misunderstanding between a tenant and a landlord, we have a beautiful, healthy London Plane tree in need of a home.

What does it look like? It is almost 13 feet tall. Like all London Plane trees, it is medium drought tolerant, grows fast, and is adaptable to most soils. Fully grown, it is a large & wide tree with leaves that look like those of a maple. Best of all, it's bark is very attractive.

The tree cost HVRA $148, not including taxes or delivery. It is available on a first-come, first served basis to anyone who can provide it with a good backyard home, for a cost of only $20.
