Greetings HVRA Members,
The HVRA Home Energy Retrofit Opportunity (HERO) project is having a home energy efficiency information meeting:
Heating and Insulation 101
Tuesday, September 29, 7:00 pm
Kensington Gardens, 25 Brunswick Avenue
The HERO project is excited to have two excellent speakers to highlight some of the opportunities available to Harbord Village residents to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
Melinda Zytaruk of Fourth Pig Worker Coop will talk about less toxic building/renovation material options, indoor air quality, and home insulation.
Trevor John of AtlasCare will talk about high efficiency furnaces, including what makes them high efficiency, what other benefits they offer, and why they provide the lowest life cycle cost, along with their environmental benefits.
There will also be information on how the HERO project can help you make your home more energy efficient and more comfortable, and save money in the process.
There will be lots of time for questions.
So please join us on Tuesday, and bring your friends and neighbours. It will be an enjoyable and interesting evening.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact David Booz, HERO project coordinator, at hero@harbordvillge.com or 416-806-2669.
The HVRA HERO project is supported by a Live Green Toronto Community Investment Program grant from the City of Toronto
