Hello Members of HVRA

We have been talking about this event for some time.. this is your last reminder

On the day after Halloween we want you to all get a chance to show off your pumpkins a second time!!
So after your last kids have trick or treated you... take in your pumpkins because there seems to be a constant supply of youngsters who like to smash pumpkins late at night
And next day, Saturday Nov. 1, bring them to Harbord street any time after 3:30 pm -- head towards the blocks between Borden and Spadina. Volunteers from HVRA will assist you to find a spot on tables that will have been set up....
At appx 6 pm the pumpkins will all be lit up at the same time and you can promenade along the street taking in the pumpkins and schmoozing with your friends and neighbours

There will be an HVRA Silent Auction at the Gallery on the North East corner of Robert and Harbord.... great stuff.. restaurant meals for two.. great donations from our local merchants...

There will be celebrity designed pumpkins - local folk such as Christie Blatchford and Molly Johnson have submitted designs - and the art students at Central Tech have executed them .. terrific creativity

So come on out and make history!!! You can tell your grandchildren that you were at the very first HVRA Pumpkin Festival ever!!
