The Great HVRA Fall Fair is this Sunday - Sept 14!!

Hello all you fine members of HVRA!
Yes the event that really Rocks in Harbord Village is upon us!
Place: Margaret Fairley Park - corner of Ulster and Brunswick
Time: Noon to appx 7 pm
Day: Sunday September 14th
Come along for a great afternoon where you can meet and greet your neighbours and participate in so many wonderful things brought to you by one of the best and most active resident associations in Toronto - your very own HVRA
Here are some of the things on the programme:
-Non-stop live music - see schedule below
-Silent Auction -includes neat stuff from local merchants as well as great meals
from our local restaurants
-Raffle
-great burgers, sausages, and the return of Tara's veggie wraps and roasted corn
-sip away at cold water, pop, juice, Steam Whistle Beer, red or white wine
-display tables on community interest- solar power, the Treeing the Village committee \
and note the the new Village arborist will be present to answer your questions
on how to keep your own trees healthy for many years to come
-Kids games and crafts courtesy of St. Stephen's Community House
-Rummage and Book sale on the Boulevard!
-make purchases at our Produce table containing preserves and baked goods made by your
neighbours
So come on out and support your neighbours and your Association
If you would like to assist in putting on this event..there are several ways to do it
1: To donate to the book or rummage sale, bring your goodies to the park any time from 9:30 am to noon on the 14th - if you have questions, call Janet Kerman at 416- 964-1133
2: To donate baked goods or preserves, call Mary Newberry at 416-966-1523
3: to volunteer to help set up or take down or to take a shift at ticket or beer or
burger sales -- contact Gus Sinclair at 416-543-2785
4: if you have a school age person in your house who would like to get hours for
Community service - have him/her contact Gus Sinclair at 416-543-2785 or show
up on the day and work will be assigned.
So come one come all for a really good way to spend a Sunday afternoon
